Every Heart a Doorway

Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire. Published by Tor.com

Beautiful, touching, tragic. Every Heart A Doorway will find a place in your heart.

Ever dreamed of stepping through a doorway, a wardrobe or some other magical portal into another world? Wished to then live out your life there fulfilling epic quests, hang out with gods and other creatures?

A world in which your heart and soul will fit just right, as if it were a complicated jigsaw and your heart were the missing piece – fitting just right.

Now imagine you were one of the fortunate ones who did find your portal, fell through a rabbit hole to such a world. But fate has kicked you out or dragged you back to the world from which you were born – our world.

PTSD? Feelings of displacement? Declared unfit for civilised society? Are people scared for their lives when around you?
Eleanor West will understand…

This is a beautiful and heart wrenching story. I loved it so much! I was lucky enough to read this early before its release and I’ve been squeezing about this ever since to anyone slow enough to not run away!

Read this novella and your own heart will be forever changed as you fall in love with the worlds of Every Heart a Doorway! (If this Novella doesn’t get nominated for all of the awards, the awards are bloody well rigged!) I give this all of the stars out of whatever scale is being used! Read it and tell me I’m wrong, I dare you! 😉

Eleanor West’s Home for Wayward Children
No Solicitations
No Visitors
No Quests

Children have always disappeared under the right conditions; slipping through the shadows under a bed or at the back of a wardrobe, tumbling down rabbit holes and into old wells, and emerging somewhere… else.

But magical lands have little need for used-up miracle children.

Nancy tumbled once, but now she’s back. The things she’s experienced… they change a person. The children under Miss West’s care understand all too well. And each of them is seeking a way back to their own fantasy world.

But Nancy’s arrival marks a change at the Home. There’s a darkness just around each corner, and when tragedy strikes, it’s up to Nancy and her new-found schoolmates to get to the heart of the matter.

No matter the cost.

Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire is released on the 5th of April 2016. Published by Tor.com it is available as both an ebook, audiobook and hardback.
